Summary

Ezekiel and his prophecies are some of the most vivid, intense, and disturbing in all the Bible. But Ezekiel isn't primarily a prophet of doom but of new creation. Seth and David talk about Ezekiel's prophecies and the good news that in Jesus Ezekiel's prophecies begin to come true.

1:12.8	We are starting our look at the book of Ezekiel today, which I just found out before coming on air was illegal for Jewish people to read until they were 30.
1:24.2	And one guy burst into flames when reading it or something.
1:27.4	Yeah.
1:27.6	What in the world?
1:28.7	Yeah, Ezekiel is an intense book.
1:31.8	It has some of the most intense prophecies.
1:34.5	Zechial, when he first sees God, goes coma, toasts for seven days.
1:39.5	And there was a whole Jewish tradition that you could not read the beginning or ending of the book of Ezekiel until you were 30 years old.
1:48.2	It was that book and Song of Songs.
1:50.2	The song of songs were the two books you couldn't read because the content of them was so holy and so mature.
2:00.8	It was just it contained the glory of God.
