We've been thinking all this week about the wonder of God's revelation and the cosmos

0:13.0

and the marvel as Christians that we understand that we were made as his image for fellowship with him in order that we might be like him,

0:23.6

that we might know him, that we might trust him.

0:26.6

But we've specially been thinking about our rebellion against this revelation and our rebellion

0:32.6

and rejection of it. But I don't think that we should leave this week without remembering where

0:39.3

0:46.3

1:32.3

and the Word was God. And then eventually in the prologue to John's Gospel, he makes it crystal

1:39.3

clear that this word is none other than our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the one without whom nothing

1:48.0

was made that was made. He is the one who sustains all things. And daringly, John adds, He gives light

1:58.0

to everyone. And that's something we've really been considering, isn't it?

2:03.6

That even the people who walk in darkness cannot escape the fact that their thinking,

2:09.6

their reasoning, their loving, their living, their sense that there might be some meaning

2:14.6

to life.
