Matthew chapter 14 verse 22 says this immediately after this. Immediately after this. Now what is what is this after? This is right

after the feeding of the 5,000. So Jesus and the disciples have just fed. We say 5,000, that's 5,000 men.

So with women and children, we're looking at 15 to 20,000 people. And so right after the feeding of the multitudes,

Jesus insisted that his disciples get back into the boat, cross to the other side of the lake,

while he sent the people home. And after sending them home, he went up into the hills by himself

to pray. Night fell while he was there alone. Meanwhile,

the disciples were in trouble far away from the land for a strong wind had risen, and they were
