We're gonna continue to analyze the NFL draft he gave out a bunch of grades on established the run.com for all the teams in the NFL

and I want to talk to him specifically about what he thought about the Eagles did and about some of the teams in the NFC East and I just get his thoughts on the current state of the Eagles organization and we'll take a look at who he thinks might be the best team in the NFC East as it is kind of a toss up at this point

Evan thanks for coming on I on the enemy man how are you?

John I'm doing well man I'm doing well I took my my two days of recovery after the draft just literally slept for like I don't know 36 of the last 48 hours

But we had a really successful draft in terms of draft props that had a rock solid mock draft again this year so now excited to do something different

You know we did draft like hit it so hard for three weeks you know just three straight weeks there leading into the draft and now we're going to transition into hardcore fantasy stuff

So if you're serious about playing fantasy football or sports betting we're going to do a sports betting podcast and we really integrated that into our coverage

Now back in the day a few years ago Evan and I used to I used to pester the heck out of Evan for fantasy football advice on direct message and he always helped me out

He always led me in the right path so man make sure you're you're on established the run.com those guys really know what they're talking about and so you know Evan as you're getting ready for the draft

And as you're doing all the work after the draft I know the grades are the big thing every you know basically every every media outlet is going to grade the draft and without these guys actually playing obviously it can't be based on how well they do in the pros because it's obviously too soon to know that so what

Just before we start talking about grades because I know you graded all the aFC and NFC teams what is your criteria like what do you what do you use as your measuring stick when when you're grading teams based on their draft performance

I've done this for a lot of years and I try to you know over the years I've tried a lot of different ways to grade to grade each teams draft and you know I tried the traditional way and the the short form way just do like two sentences on each team and assign a grade and give no explanation for why you gave that grade and

You know just talk about all my opinions on all the players and some of that stuff's going to be right and some of that stuff's going to be wrong is just it's hit or miss it even is so for the teams as well so what I really have kind of settled on boiling it down to when I when I grade teams and I put a lot of time into it.
