We are 16 days from Michigan's opener against Colorado State. So football is coming quick.

They're, what, two weeks, 15 days now, over two weeks into fall camp. So tons to talk about.

And we have roster news. One of the most surprising pieces of roster news that I've seen, including the fact

that it was a transfer, and Michigan hasn't gotten many.

What, just three, four over the last couple of years, obviously some admission stuff

there, create some hurdles for guys.

But Iabi Anoma, a former five-star plus prospect, the number three overall player in the

2018 class, signed and played at Alabama, then was dismissed from the team there, went to

Houston, was dismissed from the team there, and that's what makes this thing so interesting.

Went to UT Martin, sat out in 2020, played in 2021, and did pretty well, though,

was an all Ohio Valley conference performer.

He was all-SEC freshman team in 2018, nine tackles, two for loss.

So when he's on the field, he plays well.

There's some baggage there.

So, you know, obviously a great scoop.

It's been confirmed by the program now that he is a part of the football

program. And here we go. Something crazy. This is something that our Chris Ballas hinted at a few

months ago that this could be a possibility. Anoma played for Biff Pogie, associate head coach

at Michigan at St. Francis Prep out in Baltimore.
