Three martini's coming up.

So glad you're with us for the Tuesday edition of the three martini lunch.

Like we said yesterday, if your state has a primary today, get out and vote,

0:21.4

make your voice heard. Jim, it's next Tuesday that Maine has its primary for the U.S. Senate and

0:26.8

governor and all sorts of other things on the ballot, of course. And yesterday we talked about

0:30.2

the latest scandal involving Graham Platner, the pretend populist who grew up with a silver

0:36.8

in his mouth, but all the other scandals that have gotten the attention from the Nazi tattoo to the comments about rape victims to so many other things. And then now it's the explicit messages. It's having a profile on an extremely shady account that is linked to trafficking and other things. But Grand Platner's in a little

0:56.9

bit of trouble here. This particular scandal seems to have raised the interest of a number of

1:02.3

Democrats. You suggested yesterday this might be the latest swallwelling of a Democrat that the

1:08.0

Democrats don't feel like defending for several more months in a high

1:12.4

profile race. And the main opponent that he had, no pun intended, until a little over a month ago,

1:19.0

was a two-term Democratic governor, Janet Mills, who suspended her campaign. But Jim, as we

1:25.2

learned in the Princess Bride, her campaign wasn't totally dead. It was only

1:29.1

mostly dead. And so she said in an interview with the Portland Press Herald yesterday, people have

1:34.8

the impression that I withdrew her dropped out, but I simply suspended active campaigning. I am still

1:40.5

on the ballot. Not exactly a subtle hint to anyone who doesn't feel like defending

1:44.6

Graham Platner for the next five months. And so in addition to that, an even bigger sign that

1:51.0

the Democrats are ready to kick this guy to the curb, or at least a decent chunk of the party,

1:54.9

happened over on The View yesterday. Most of the ladies saying this guy's not worth the trouble,

1:59.4

too much scandal.
