recently on culture from a Christian worldview. I'm John Stone Street with the point. Recently on X Dan Darling tweeted an interesting observation about an oddity of our

time, quote, it's fascinating to see ex-Angelicals decry a Christian ethic at the same time many atheists are seeing

its necessity.

It's like two ships passing in the night.

And you know he's right.

There are two contradictory phenomena happening right now, at least on social media.

On one hand, a collection of former evangelical pastors and influencers denouncing basic

Christian teaching and morality as being harmful.

On the other hand, a group of non-believers, think Tom Holland, Ian Hershey,

Lee, Jordan Peters and even Richard Dawkins recently, rediscovering and

proclaiming the importance of Christian teaching and morality even if they don't

personally believe it and the key takeaway for Christians is that we need to take our cues from Christ,

not the constantly changing popular opinions of a culture that is adrift.

Of course, many will consider what we believe in how we live somewhere between odd and evil.

But staying weird, as Holland put it, may be our very best bet.
