Summary

In these episodes Anna & Lucy try to work at the restuarant while still doing everything at the same time. They also each get a tooth pulled which is physically and emotionally painful. Randi realizes that she is going to have to talk to Jordan about the fact that she is trying to control her entire life. The Capasso triplets are bereated by their family, again, and need to break away from them asap. Jessica and John call a truce for now to get through Christina's birth. Jessica tells Josh, while Christina listens on FaceTime, that she wants a baby, tonight, and intices him with a charcuterie board of "fertility food." And Vee and Ashley's baby dreams might be dashed by Vee's health and the $28k price tag. Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands Privacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Hello, welcome back to the psych legal pop podcast. This is a podcast where we talk about popular culture through the lens of an attorney and a therapist. I'm Brooke Brigham and I'm the attorney. And I'm Tess Brigham. I'm the therapist. And we're here today to discuss extreme sisters, which is extremely annoying.

0:25.5

I'm finding it really annoying.

0:28.2

For a show that I had such high hopes for, I've just been really, I don't know.

0:34.3

I don't know.

0:35.4

Well, we're here to power through episodes six and seven. That wasn't a really

0:40.1

good sell. No. Test, I think we want people to continue listening. Okay. Okay. I'm sorry. F.I. I'm sorry. Yes. You're

0:48.9

right. You're right. Okay. If you're still here, we are going to go through episode six and seven

0:58.0

of extreme sisters.

0:59.4

You know, it's, look, it's not these women's fault.

1:02.6

You know, I don't know if it's the editing, if it's, I don't know what it is.

1:07.5

But I think the reality is this, is that I think that them as in like

1:12.4

these women as sisters and their stories are interesting. The problem being that their day-to-day

1:20.1

lives aren't as interesting. I think that some of their day-to-day lives are interesting and

1:25.4

they've got stuff going on. I think it's like

1:27.5

anything else, it's like housewives, right? The original story of someone and getting to know them is

1:32.6

always, you know, if you're interested in people, fascinating. But once they're there and you're like,

1:38.4

they've got nothing to contribute or talk about or they don't have a very interesting life,

1:43.7

then it's like, well, well, yeah, a lot of these stories, I feel like they're trying, they're really trying. Some of these, though, I mean, like, for instance, Jessica and Christina, I think they have plenty of drama on their own. Yes. I don't think you really have to stage much for them. Yes. No, I agree. And I think Anna and Lucy are just fascinating. Yeah, period. Period.

2:04.3

But, you know, this, we were just talking before we started about the triplets. So let's start with them because

2:10.0

this show is trying really hard to push these Capasso triplets on us. And there is just no, they're there.

2:19.6

You know, they've barely been on screen for this whole season,

2:22.5

and they're barely on screen.
