Summary

44 | HAPPY HOLIDAYS, friends! This week, I wanted to bring you a very nostalgic holiday-themed episode as someone who had the pleasure of growing up in the early 2000s and experiencing some of the best Christmas vibes of all time.

From elementary school Santa Shops, to Christmas Eves at my grandparents', to waking up for presents at 4am, I'm recounting some of my favorite and fondest memories of Christmases past. I hope this episode conjures up some fond memories of your own, or just simply brings you joy. :)

Hello everyone. Welcome back to another episode of Digital Diary. I am your host, Hannah Elise. I hope

0:06.4

everyone's doing well. We are fully in the holiday season. It is actually, I mean, okay, I'm just

0:13.5

going to keep this part brief because I feel like in every single episode to talk about how

0:18.4

time moves so fast and I hate it and blah blah, blah. Like,

0:21.4

it's literally every episode. So I won't go into it. But, you know, that's what's happening.

How is Christmas actually like so soon? I was just looking at my calendar for the rest of the year

0:33.7

and when I'm getting my train home to my family for the holidays for Christmas

0:39.2

once again like I seriously feel like I was just there for Thanksgiving, which I was.

0:43.2

And now my train back for Christmas is so soon. And I think who was it that I was listening to

0:50.6

that said that October, November, and December, they wish they weren't like

0:56.7

all in a row because it doesn't feel like there's enough time to appreciate and enjoy each

1:03.3

of their holidays when they're like back to back to back. We're switching so quickly and then the

1:08.9

rest of the year we're just like, there's nothing. I think it was, it might have been call her daddy, I think, yesterday.

1:14.2

I thought I had a mouse yesterday, side note. And to call my fears, I just like started listening

1:19.1

to call her daddy and my noise canceling headphones to block out the noise of any mouse and or my

1:24.8

fears. And I have come to the conclusion now that I don't actually think

1:29.0

I have one. Knock on wood, though. I don't know that for a fact, but it's been like a day and

1:35.7

nothing. Knock on wood again, I'm scared. But anyway, I agree with that sentiment. I agree that

1:41.2

I wish that October, November, December, the three, arguably the three

1:45.0

best months of the year, I wish they were more spread out. I wish they weren't right next to each other.

1:50.9

And I feel like we're just moving through everything so quickly. And with the way that life is just

1:56.2

moving faster and faster and time feels like it's going by faster in the speed of light as we get older and
