Listen, I just wanted us to go a bit deeper, have a bit more time, having heard his story in part one.

And folks, just a heads up, Mez and I were going to talk for about half an hour now,

and then I'm going to include this, the first time I came across Mez was this Axe 29 talk that he gave seven years ago,

and it's called What's the Problem with Church in the UK?

And it's absolutely brilliant, So it's pure gold.

So I want us to get that as well. It's about half an hour of him talking now, answering some of my questions.

And then it'll literally be just cutting to a talk, which I strongly recommend you hanging around for.

So that'll be about an hour in total. All right. Just to explore what it looks like to be effective, you know, if most of the, talking

particularly to the UK church, but I think it's the Western church in general, it tends to be

middle class working in areas of where the biggest challenge is just comfort, isn't it?

The idol of comfort in our age, everything to make our lives more easy.

And actually, I think we all recognize that

there's an inconsistency there with what the gospel is meant to be, which is the last, the lost

lease. Well, it's for everyone. But, you know, getting our hands dirty, getting really stuck in.

And speaking from my perspective, Mel, Mez, I, you know, I want us to do it more effectively

around the corner here on our estate.

So when you've shown up, when you've planted churches in it, what are the sort of basic sort of DNA you're seeking to inculcate there?

I mean, that's that be a question, isn't it?

Listen, the primary thing we want to get right is the gospel, right?

It might seem like a ridiculously obvious thing to say.
