James, thank you for being here, as you have written an amazing and important book called Thank You, Teachers. I've had a day

and a half with it. I think it's amazing. I think it is the right book at the right time.

Do you agree? It's always been the right time for the right time. My mother was a teacher,

and we needed this back then. You know,

we have the thing with the military. Thank you for your service. We need to have the same thing for

teachers. The mission here, Matt Everisman and I put this together. We do the interviews and

whatever. And then what we'll do is take the interviews and turn them into these five or six

page chapters where you get a feeling for

that teacher and also for their stories. But our mission here is that if a teacher reads this,

and I think it's a really terrific gift for teachers, which they'll really like. But if a teacher

reads you, they'll say that Evertsman Patterson got it right. And for the rest of us, we'll go, you know, I thought I understood this, but I really didn't.

I didn't understand what teachers have to put up with in this day and age.
