There really is no predicting who will pop in to Bletchley Park

and what secrets they'll reveal about what happened here during World War II.

In the last few months alone, we've heard Sir Arthur Bonsel telling the tale

of why stones were put around the oval.

The bud children talking about climbing trees and seeing the comings and goings of the co-breakers

around the clock, and bomb wrens taken back in time by a recreation of a bossy boots warrant

officer in Hutt 11.

Podcast producer Mark Cotter and tour guide Mike Chapman met some women who recalled how

the pneumatic conveyor system was used in Block E,

not for vital intelligence, but live frogs plucked from the lake.

One of our visitors here today at Bletchley Park, we're very pleased to have here. She is a veteran, Nora.

Today she's known as Nora Boswell, but during the Second World War, she was Nora Knight.

Nora, would you please tell us where you were based and what you did?

I was based at Stammore, which was one of the outstations for Bletchley, and I was a bomb operator.

You mentioned before this that you came here once before.

Would you like to tell us the story behind how you came to Blechley Park?

I came to Bletchley once because I was sent up on remand

because I've been late three times for duty.

And so I had to come and see the chief officer up here.
