Earlier in the year, we interviewed some of the original members of the Blexley Park Trust, who gave us an insight into how they first started to save Bletchley Park.

Well, in this episode, we bring you an interview with Doreen Sawyer,

the lady, the original trust member, Peter Westcom,

climbed through the fence to speak to, to start the ball rolling.

She tells us some of the post-war history of the park

and about organising that very first Enigma Reunion party.

So can you tell me what your job was at Bletchley Park?

Well, I worked for the Civil Aviation Authority.

I was what they called an HEO, which is higher executive officer.

I was in charge of the administration of the college.

We took in students from all over the world on aviation.

So you're more or less running the site then?

We have a principal, obviously, who was the head,

but I was in charge of the admin-like students coming in,

recording them, and that kind of thing.

Right.

Also in charge of the budget of the college.
