Summary

Third parties in the United States historically do not perform well in presidential elections. However, a Quinnipiac University Poll suggest nearly half of voters would consider a third-party candidate. This past Monday, the No Labels campaign announced that they may add a name to the ticket on the condition that former President Donald Trump and Vice President Joe Biden become the official party nominees. No Labels says they aim to give Americans who dislike these candidates a chance to vote for someone who has nuanced, moderate opinions. Some fear that a third party may spoil the election by taking votes away from one candidate and inadvertently boosting the other. No Labels National Director Joe Cunningham, joined host Dave Anthony to detail what it would take for No Labels to present a third-party candidate and they would even have a chance of winning He also discussed the likelihood that Sen. Joe Manchin could run as the No Labels candidate and if he'd be any more than an election spoiler. Due to time limitations, we could not include our entire conversations in the FOX News Rundown segment that ran this week.
