Summary

We hear all about battleground states in the presidential election. There are also battleground districts across the country that are key to which party controls the House in the next Congress. One of them is New York's District 17. Republican Congressman Mike Lawler represents it.    In a big upset, Lawler defeated Sean Patrick Maloney, an incumbent and the chair of the Democratic congressional campaign committee, in 2022. Earlier this week, FOX News Rundown host Dave Anthony spoke to Rep. Lawler about his campaign and the pressure of competing in a race that may decide who holds the House majority. Lawler also discussed how he and other Republicans are being targeted over the issue of abortion and complained that his opponent, Mondaire Jones, is misrepresenting his stance on the controversial issue. We often must cut interviews short during the week, but we thought you might like to hear the full interview.   This week on the FOX News Rundown, we will share the entire interview with Republican congressman Mike Lawler.
