Well, Kabbalas, I got to tell you that the end of the year is creeping up upon us, but that does not mean that convention season is over.

Back in the, in the, some years back, convention season was comprised of the

summertime, basically. Well, now we have all kinds of conventions happening in the fall. Of course,

today's episode is about Essence Spiel. That happens in October in Germany. But we wanted to

start off by talking about one that's becoming a very, very hot convention, a very hot event coming up in November that we, all three of us here, are very excited to get to. And that's Pax Unplugged. Oh, that's right. It's November this year. That's right. Because usually it's in December. Okay, cool. Yeah, yeah. I got to suddenly look at my calendar and make sure. It'll be fine. It'll be fine. You forgot? I'm glad we're taking part in this express. I'm hoping it'll be slightly warmer. I don't know, T, man. Like, at this point, there's almost no fall anymore. It goes from ridiculously hot in the summer to super cold in the winter. I don't know if there's even a fall or spring anymore in this part of the world. Either way, we're going to be there. But I got to tell you, I wasn't sure if we were going to go to PACs this year. We were trying to make the decision early in the year if we wanted to go or not. We were thinking maybe go into a different convention, or obviously we ultimately decided to go to Pax, but it was a decision.

And now that we're getting close to it, I'm getting really, really, really, really excited to go. And we went to Origins. And I remember when Orge was over, we had talked previously about, yeah, we probably won't be going to Pax this year. And then I went to Origins. I was like, man, I kind of want to go to Pax.

Because every time I go to Origins, like I get all jazzed up again.

And I was like, Jamie, I kind of want to go to Pax? Because every time I go to Origins, like I get all jazzed up again. And I was like, Jamie, are you thinking maybe? And then I don't know. You were thinking the same thing. And I think we just got this feedback, Luke, and reinforce each other enough to where we're going. That's right. We need to retire and just go to more conventions. That's right. But if I retire, I can't afford to go to conventions. Well, one of these years I'm getting concerned that it might actually fall on my anniversary because my anniversary happens right around that time. For years, I always wanted to go to BGGCon, but BGGCon would always follow my anniversary, And for a while, I couldn't go. And this year, it's getting kind of close, right? So the dates are, it starts on Friday the 21st, and, wait a minute, maybe it does follow on my, we're going out there on the 20th, the 20th of my anniversary. Fuck. Uh-oh. My anniversary does fall on Pax this year. Shit, I got to figure that out.

Wait, we're not going to Pax.

No, we are.

I will be there.

I already bought the plane ticket.

Don't worry, T. I'll be out there. Don't worry. I'll probably come the next morning instead. But anyway, today's Express episode is not specifically about packs unplugged, as much as we love it.
