Well, Kabbalis, in the last Express episode, we got together and we talked about

which gaming industry notables would we put on a Mount Rushmore of Tabletop Gaming.

And we thought that was a really great conversation.

It was a ton of fun.

And in that conversation, the things we focused on were specifically game designers and their entire body of work, the impact they've had on the industry as a whole, the legacy they've left behind and the influence they've had on other game designers out there.

That was sort of the criteria for us having them on the mountain representing the gaming industry as a whole.

Well, today's discussion topic is not terribly dissimilar to that one, but we take a

completely different angle on celebrating game designers and the things that they have done.

We're going to be talking about masterpieces today.

Now, if you're anything like me and you've heard the word masterpiece over the years, you may have a small misconception of what that actually means.

I started digging into the history of the word masterpiece and what it actually means.
