I would tell you without hesitation the one way you can maintain a balanced perspective of the enemy is to spend time in the word of God.

It will remind you that he is in fact engaged in the lives of the righteous as well as the wicked.

But his days are numbered. His ability is limited and no one knows it better than he himself. Nothing is more frustrating than witnessing evil doers who triumph over innocent people,

especially when their attacks are unchallenged.

We feel incensed when justice is abandoned and when sinister forces prevail.

Well today on Insight for Living, Chuck Swindall is teaching from Revelation chapter 12.

In this passage we're introduced to a scene where evil forces are crushed and God's glory is elevated.

A great sign appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun and the

moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of 12 stars and she was with child and she cried out

being in labor and in pain to give birth.

Then another sign appeared in heaven.

And behold a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns and on his heads were seven diadems.

And his tails swept away a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth and the dragon stood before the

woman who was about to give birth so that when she gave birth he might devour her

child. And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who was

to rule all the nations with a rod of iron and her child was caught up to God

and to his throne. Then the woman fled into the wilderness where she had a place prepared
