In the wake of current exposés of supposed prophets, Sean Bowles, Chris Reed, Todd White, and many others,

a lot of people are rethinking the movement they come from, and they're questioning the teachings of churches like Bethel,

which platformed and covered for these prophets

rather than exposing them as frauds. Known as the New Apostolic Reformation, or NAR, this

movement centers on the fivefold ministry outlined in Ephesians 4. The passage states that

Christ gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds, and teachers to equip the body of Christ.

So why is this five-fold ministry wreaking so much havoc in the church today instead of billing it up?

According to my guest and friend today, Neil Cole, it's because NAR has turned the gifts of the Holy Spirit in to hierarchical offices.

And instead of empowering the church, it's appointing corrupt leaders to rule over it.

And when you take one gift out, you remove more than half of those connections.

You take another gift out, you cut it in half again.

And we've been going on for centuries with two or
