Another thing I had to do was forgive.

I remember being on the phone one day with a Christian friend of mine just on fire for the Lord.

And she said, Jess, have you forgiven the school district?

Have you forgiven the students that have done this?

And I just remember, like, coming to a halt and thinking, I have thought about the fact that I eventually need to do that,

but I haven't done it yet. And at that point, I was still confused as to what decision to make.

Was I going to put my head in the sand and follow the directives to save my salary? Was I going to

resign and walk away, which would have been quitting?

Or was I going to face the giant and call out the evil and expose it and just fully surrender

in obedience to the Lord?

Today, we face an overwhelming amount of negativity.
