One of the things I love about this show is the opportunity to share with you things I'm learning, listening to, and taking inspiration from. Today's show is no different. My guest today is Sheri Riley. After 20 years of creating really innovative marketing fo Usher, TLC, Toni Braxton, Converse, the NBA, BMW, and Turner, to name a few, she now serves as an Empowerment Speaker and Life Strategist.
Not too long ago, Sheri joined us at the CreativeLive studios for her class, based on her book Exponential Living. In a world that's a bit out of sorts right now, this her message could not be more timely. So I wanted to share a few segments of her class that I really resonated with me around three topics:
1- What is our definition of success. So many of us are striving and working hard toward success. But Sheri helps us ask ourselves, WHAT is the success we are actually seeking. Too many of us are listening and even living someone else's definition of success.
2- Peace is Power. Our busyness, stress, anxiety leads to emptiness and what Sheri helps us tap into is the grounding sense of peace to remain present in the moment, to allow moments of reflection, and tap into an inner strength of who we are.
3- How to build lasting confidence - If drive is a protective strength, Confidence is our vulnerable strength. It gives us courage to be.
These are just a few powerful topics in her class. Of course, if you'd like to check out the full class, it's available on CreativeLive at https://cr8.lv/ExponentialLiving
Enjoy!
