The Oroboros Cycle Part 4

So far, throughout this series, we've discussed gods and mortals, sacrifice,

atonement, morality, responsibility, and irresponsibility.

In the fourth part of the cycle, the way it ends, all of these concepts come

together to complete the story. The way it ends is simultaneously connected to the previous parts,

as well as its own tale, and while it takes place in the same continuity as the other parts,

it will only briefly touch upon them. It's really the various

themes of the cycle that bind the whole thing together. The way it ends is a very lengthy story,

with plenty of dialogue between the various characters. Since this is not a reading video,

there will definitely be something lost in summary, but I will not omit anything essential to the overall story.

The way it ends starts with the classic super secure disclaimer that is standard for most 001 files,

but the special containment procedure simply read,

it is the imperative of the Overseer Council to establish containment of SCP 001.

The description reads, to know the nature of SCP 001 is to know the nature of the foundation.

This really does not tell us much at all other than the fact that the Overseer Council's whole purpose seems to be containing this 001zero-one, whatever it is.

The attached document starts with a poem,

seeming to discuss Adam and Eve after they were cast out of the Garden of Eden.

Adam rebukes the snake for leading them astray and tricking them,

saying that trusting it was his greatest mistake.

The snake replies that his greatest mistake was believing that he had a choice at all.
