Halloween and the overall theming of October has continued to grow in popularity over the last few decades.

What was once a holiday firmly in the grasp of young children who dressed up to go

trick-or-treating has expanded into an entire mini-season of its own for people of all ages.

Between trick-or-treating, Halloween parties, haunted houses, horror movies, and elaborate decorations, the holiday has come a long way from its pagan roots, having been passed through the grinding wheels of commercialism.

SCP-6750 is an anomaly at that cross-section of old traditions, commercialism, and a blend of the grim

macabre and silly fun that makes up Halloween.

SCP-6750 is the designation for six advertisements and public service announcements that

aired between 1989 and 1991 throughout the United States.

They were specifically targeted at suburban and rural communities, and were produced by

Vkander Need Technical Media.

VKTM is a group of interest, focused on the production and distribution of anomalous media,

including radio shows, instructional VHS tapes, exercise DVDs, bonus features on entertainment

DVDs, documentaries, music, and streaming services. The advertisements interrupted ordinary programming when they aired, and their main subject matter was Halloween, and the potential dangers facing children thereon, as well as general information regarding the holiday.

While a common theme within the ads was Halloween, the majority of them were nonsensical

in messaging and overall tone.

Instances averaged around one minute in length, and details regarding their exact production

and origin remain unknown.

Viewing them causes an intense feeling of fear in viewers.

They are all presented by SCP 6750-1, a humanoid entity wearing clothing resembling contemporary depictions of scarecrowes,

including a sackcloth cloak, gloves, and a shirt adorned with a human ribcage.
