SCP 001, MAMJUL and Kaurar Part 1.

It's a fairly common theme among the SCP universe that some things are just better off

buried and forgotten.

This holds true for much of horror fiction, of course, but the SCP universe has a particular

way of reawakening things with far greater consequences than merely a group of wayward

teenagers being killed off.

The previous SCP-001 in this series, a money-rom, certainly demonstrated that

clearly enough, bringing the ancient Mechanite empire into the modern day and causing

quite a stir in the foundation.

It revealed greater detail about the ancient wars between the Mechanites, the Davites, and the Sarkites,

but so far the foundation has far more questions than answers, and after what happened in

a money rom, they're not exactly thrilled to find out more.

Let's take a look.

Let's first begin with a little primer on what exactly happened in a Money Rom. I would of course recommend either reading that article yourself

or viewing my previous video on it, but I'll cover the broad details. The foundation discovered

a hidden ancient city in the southern Arabian desert, determining

it to be Amunee Ram, the fortress city of the Mechanite Empire.

Two researchers were chosen to head up the investigation, Dr. Robert Aram and Dr. Hedwig Nusbaum.

The technology still present in the city proved to be incredible, notably a mechanical throne that allows an individual to experience vivid memories from the past rulers of the city, all named Bumaro.

Over time, Aram became increasingly disconnected from the foundation, diving deeper and deeper into the memories of the past,

until he eventually takes on the mantle of Bumaro himself.

He declares Amunee Ram to be his, and states that the Church of the Broken God will change
