Neutralized SCPs.

The SCP Foundation's directive, as you very likely know, is to secure, contain, and protect

anomalous objects located throughout the world and beyond.

This means that they strive to keep these anomalies alive and intact when possible, for both

research purposes and for potential safety concerns when it comes to trying to remove them.

That being said, there are times where anomalous objects become non-anomalous, for various

reasons.

This can include the foundation deciding to deliberately destroy it, the object destroying

itself, the object removing itself from our existence, or the object just simply losing

its anomalous properties for whatever reason.

I've already covered a good number of neutralized SCPs in other videos, such as SCP 1730,

SCP 3999, or SCP 1762, but let's look at a handful more.

Let's start with SCP 1983, a one-story farmhouse in Wyoming, abandoned in 1968 after a series of ritual

murders, allegedly performed by a satanic cult.

This ritual apparently led to the creation of a different SCP, but were not told what that one was.

Instead, the interior of the farmhouse contains a spatial anomaly, accessible through the front

door, the windows, the back door, and any entrances cut into the back of the building.

The front room of the house doesn't seem to actually exist inside of the anomaly, however,

as any doors inside that would

lead to the front room instead lead to other rooms in the building.

Of course, the interior dimensions of the house in general don't really line up with expected

reality.
