We're believing the influence and narrative of how Christians perceive what God's doing

DeVica Preake is a veteran actress in the entertainment industry.

She was born to an East Indian father.

An African American mother was raised in Gathersburg, Maryland,

known for her time on West Wing, 24 and sister sister,

and also being a prolific voiceover in video games.

DeVica is at a long longevity in her career.

Her faith has played an in front and center role in how she's chosen projects,

as well as how she has connected her life to others in this incredible industry.

In our interview, I'm going to ask DeVica about how she left her journalism degree

and potential huge career to pursue acting instead.

I want to find out what it was like from her coming from such a diverse ethnic background

in the entertainment industry that can be so hard for people of color.

And I also want to see what she thinks God is doing right now in this industry.
