This is Monica Perrais and my guest today is Jeremy Kuzmerov, managing editor of Covert Action magazine,

which has been exposing U.S. Covert Action since 1978.

Jeremy is also the author of four books on US foreign policy

including Obama's Unending Wars and the Russians are coming again. He specializes in

US foreign policy and modern US history and also has a background in criminology.

He has taught at the University of Tulsa as well as Bucknell and has a PhD from Brandeis.

So I always read, I read articles like that for the punchline. It's either so we need to go to war or so you need to buy gold but your articles never end with any kind of hidden agenda. It's just good old-fashioned journalism.

And it's so unusual that I wanted to ask you,

like how you, I mean, you must have to renew your commitment to personal integrity over and over again and I'm certain

Without knowing that any stories I'm certain that it has cost you academically or in mainstream journalism I'd love for you to tell me a little bit about your

Commitment and and if it has cost you anything sure yeah well yeah, a lot of institutions have become corrupted and there's always some kind of political agenda.
