When I have guests on my podcasts, I read their books to work out questions for the

episodes. When reading these books, I always find such amazing information that never makes

it into the podcast, and here I get a chance to give you a peek into the book.

I did seek permission to record this extract, and the author kindly said yes.

I'm going to be reading from Chapter 7, which is titled, More Than 50 Years of Irrefutable Research, and this is what Stephen has written.

The Child Who is His Grandfather

In the case mentioned at the beginning of this chapter, the 18-month-old child,

who said he had changed his father's diaper when he was his father's age,

the child's mother was the daughter of a Southern Baptist preacher.

As you might imagine, she found what her son said to be highly unusual.

I asked Dr Tucker to describe the case when he came on my show and he obliged.

The child's grandfather had died 18 months before the child's birth. His first

mention of having been his own grandfather was during that change of diapers. But as time went

by, he made more comments about how he used to be big and what he did when he was. His mother

in particular became interested and began to ask the boy whose name

was Sam questions. Sam came up with some very specific statements. For instance, she asked him

if he had had any brothers or sisters. He said he had had a sister who was killed. In fact, the grandfather's sister had been

murdered 60 years before. The parents felt certain the child could not have known this since they
