Oh, hello. Welcome to another show. Mark Jones visits again today and we get to talk about a topic that I've been wanting to mention on the podcast for quite some time and just hadn't.

There's no person that I can think of that I'd rather talk about ethics in counseling practices than Mark Jones.

That's precisely what we talk about.

Some of the shenanigans that go on in our field but in every field and but also it's what's specific about

astrologers being sleazy and playing around with power dynamics and stuff like this.

It's a big deal to both of us and we have a really wonderful conversation about it and so we'll get to that but I am

recording this on May 5th at 1115 a.m. here in Boulder, Colorado, and perfectly, this wasn't planned, it never is. I just like how

it always sinks up in such a beautiful way. But the ascendant is Leo. The nodes in the mean fashion have also moved

into Leo Aquarius and so I look at this chart and I see the ascended at two Leo and the North node as well. This is important because I think it very much gets to the heart of the matter and that we look at the ruler of this chart which is the sun and

it's up there in the 10th house and so this plays around with how much ego is involved within the therapeutic practice, how much show is involved

in the counseling room, how much care will say is put into the sensitivity of ethics

and also how it may affect an individual for the rest of their lives.

There's a lot when the sun points into the 10th house that points towards the most important word of all

when we are talking about this work and that is integrity.
