I'm Amir Zarafati and welcome back to explore the Bible, one of my favorite podcasts,

where we try to really understand how to read and glean from scriptures

and not just read because you have to but literally be excited about knowing and devouring the Word of God.

And the best way to do that is to study from people who are very, very well-versed

with how to study the word.

It's not something that we should be embarrassed with.

I think everyone needs to ask himself, do I even know how to study the scriptures?

And I think everyone, even at an advanced age, can find out that he learns so much more as we move on the latter of life.

So welcome again. I'm Amir Tsarfati and together with me is Dr. Rick Yon from Parker, Colorado, Shalom.

I am doing well, Amir.

What an opportunity we have today to get into the word and see things that we have not seen before.

Even though perhaps our viewers have read this passage that we're going to look at,

even numerous times, you are going to find some, make some new discoveries as we get into the scriptures.

Yeah, I think it happens to me almost every time that I read.

But it happens when I take the time and quietly read through

that I get to find things that I haven't seen before

and pay attention to things I haven't paid attention before to.

So I'm sure, I'm sure everyone will somehow find themselves learning so much today from passages that they may have read before.

But Pastor Rick, Dr. Rick, before we do that, would you do us the honor and start today's program with a prayer?

I'd love to. Lord God, we are always, always dependent upon you when it comes to reading the scriptures and understanding the scriptures.
