And I want to welcome you, but I also want to welcome a special guest, a good friend and

colleague here at Franciscan University of Steubenville, Dr. Ben Reinhardt. Great to have you.

It's very great to be here. Thank you. Yeah. So I want to just share briefly a bio, and that is

you were born and raised in Bluffton, in a Bluffton, Indiana.

Correct, yeah.

You come from an evangelical tradition with sort of a menolite background, perhaps slightly, whatever.

That's fair enough.

Yeah.

You went to Purdue and studied what?

I studied history and medieval studies at Purdue.

Medieval studies at Purdue.

Okay.

And was Mr. Anastella

professor that you had there? She was. I had her for a course on Joan of Arc, and I had her again

for Chaucer. Yeah. So she was in the English department there before she became theology at

Notre Dame. So she migrated to Notre Dame, but she wasn't the only one because you also ended up

going to Notre Dame for a graduate study.

I like to say she followed me. So I went there and then, you know, a year or two later,

she came to. We'll get the order straight. Yeah. So you went to Notre Dame to study at the

medieval institute. And was it just the doctoral program that you were in? Masters?

At that time, and I don't know what the institutes like today. It was a master's and then PhD program.
