I think there's a lot of confusion. I'm going to try to help you guys clear that up a little bit. So,

All right, then. So, I'm looking for some information regarding the automobile

exception when you could, when you can and can't search, I guess.

So I know under the exception, one of the requirements is that it has to be

as unforeseen as spontaneous. So if we have a vehicle the other day, left the house, we stopped it, we got a bag of the little

bad of it off of a consent search.

So now if we get another vehicle leaving that address that we know is a known drug location, maybe somebody calls it in or we see the drug transaction go down, can we search that vehicle?

Let me ask you this dude, when you lock that dude up, did he say, yeah, I'm buying drugs from that house?

Yes.

That kind of changes the game a little bit.

You know now you have, if you're including in your report like, hey, we happened to see, last week we stopped a gray Chevy Trailblazer and we stopped him and he had we found a bag of dope.

You're going to reference this guy in your next report.

So this week we saw another car leaving that

location knowing that it's a known drug selling house or whatever it may be and

now we're stopping that car and we're going to begin to go into those questioning.

So what's cool here is, is it's not,

it's not really relevant with consent.
