So we were all on separate coasts,

Mike and I are recovering from the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, but before we get into any highlights

I think we all kind of failed in the end to correctly predict best picture, but I think everybody

did.

Are we taking ourselves to task for thinking it was a remnant when it wound up being spotlight?

I'm taking myself a little to task because some other pundits that we know have been sort of patting themselves on the back and saying I knew it would be spotlight back in September and darn it I knew it too. I said this after the first screening at Toronto and I didn't trust myself.

So as happy as I was personally to see that when I was also sort of like annoyed that I didn't, you know,

you know, there's been a lot of talk about following your heart versus sort of using
