It is your Thursday, April 13th episode. And if you've been paying attention to what I've been talking about here is obviously I'm your host

Jake Burns. There's not been much traction as far as Brown's news lately, but we saw some things

0:43.8

over the past few days that I want to hit on kind of as we open this episode. The first being

0:48.9

more today as I'm recording this late afternoon here on Wednesday. If you didn't notice Perry on Winfrey,

0:55.5

this is the really bad news, is he was charged with misdemeanor assault down in Houston,

1:00.3

which is never anything you want to hear. So it links to assault of a family member,

1:05.7

a female. It was brought to attention by Fox Houston News 26, I think it was, Fox 26 Houston.

You can see that there's just a ton of inconsistencies to his game. you saw some round pick at the time gets taken in the fourth round, you can see that there's

2:01.3

just a ton of inconsistencies to his game. You saw some positive movement at the end of the

2:05.2

year, but this is certainly a bad trend. Now, it's a misdemeanor, and who knows, this could be

2:10.9

walked back, it can end up falling apart, whatever, whatever, but this isn't the news you want

2:15.0

to hear for a guy ready to jump into a second year in the NFL and get better.

2:20.0

So it's not that it jeopardizes his spot.

2:22.3

We'll see the severity of it and what it does.

2:24.0

It doesn't really make him a guy that you automatically cut because you've got to see the legal process through.
