Without further ado, let's get into my conversation with Brian Rice to break down what happened in the preliminary injunction hearing that still has no ruling as of now for Joey Aguilar from Friday. Hey, want to welcome on to the show Brian Rice. He is the voice of the lady Vols, basketball, softball, also the co-host of the Aircane Show on 991, The Sports Animal that's also streamed or heard live on the sports monster in the Tri-Cities. Brian, let's get down to it. I sought you out just to get your advice on some things. Again, you come from a very legal background. You do some work and, you know,

that realm of things. I obviously do not. But what was your takeaways from Joey Aguilar's

day in court for preliminary injunction on Friday? Well, first, my, so all of my legal background is on

the criminal side, not the civil side. It is an important distinction,

but there's one thing that I think is consistent between the two that I think a lot of people

mistook when they were watching or following the hearing, which is the judge is always going to

question both sides heavily when an injunction's on the line. And that's for this reason.

A judge can't necessarily consider things that he knows about the case or things that we assume

that everybody knows about the case or the system. You have to make decisions based on what's

entered on the record. And so there were probably some questions that he asked that he knew the answer to.

There are some questions that he asked that he didn't know the answer to.

And there are some questions that clearly the two sides couldn't quite provide a full and complete answer on.
