I had never even heard of this before. I've been around a while. I've lived in some really old houses with some really old refrigerators. I've never seen a refrigerator hardwired into the wall, but apparently that is a thing and it's a problem if your

power goes out and you're trying to just plug in a generator. So Tim has some answers

on that he actually alludes to something that I'm going to take and run with as an alternative as well, because I think it is beneficial for people that have multiple freezers and can't run them all at once.
