I want to talk to you about the deeper things of the Holy Spirit. I want to share with you about how to experience God

through His Word. This is a journey that we're going to go on together. And this is something that

you can do right there in your home. This is something so simple, so practical, that you'll be

able to do this not just right here right now, but also every day of your life,

that you might walk in an awareness of the presence of the precious Holy Spirit.

And this will change your life.

Because when you begin to walk in this way,

walking in union with God, walking aware of his presence, walking with that sense of joy and love and peace,

transforms everything about you, not just in how you think, but also in how you behave.

And this begins to affect everyone around you as well.

This is closeness with God.

Go now to 2 Timothy chapter 3. I'm going to read verses 16 and 17.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for

instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished

unto all good works. And then John chapter 6, verse 63, Jesus says, it is the spirit that quickeneth.

The flesh profiteth nothing. The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life.

You know, the Bible is more than just a book. And the words on those pages are more than just words.

It's spirit and life. To read the scripture is not just to gain information,

but if you do so with the help of the Holy Spirit, you are receiving revelation that ultimately

brings transformation to who you are. You are fellowshiping with the Lord Jesus. You are
