0:52.5	As you guys can tell by the title of today's episode,
0:55.7	today we are talking about the heartbreaking solved case of a young woman named Akia
1:01.2	Eggleston. So with that all being said, let's jump right on into it. Akia Eggleston was born on
1:07.7	September 6th of 1994, and at the time of her murder, Akeia was 22 years old
1:14.2	and also eight months pregnant with her second child.
1:18.2	Akea already had a two-year-old daughter who was her entire world, and Akeia was a dedicated
1:24.6	and devoted mother.
1:26.3	She absolutely loved being a mom, and her daughter was her number one priority.
1:32.0	Akea was also known to be a great friend. She was someone that everyone enjoyed being around.
1:37.4	And Akea sadly lost her own mother when she was only 17 years old after her mom passed away from cancer, leaving Akea behind to take
1:46.3	care of her younger siblings. And because of that, Akea was over the moon to welcome her new
1:52.4	addition, her new child, into the family. Now, this case begins on May 7, 2017. And this was actually
2:00.5	Akea's baby shower. It was the baby shower for her child,
2:04.6	and she was incredibly excited for her baby shower. Akea had been planning the entire thing front to back.
