Why does God care and why did he give them all these directions on how to build the tabernacle?

Because this one is titled, Moses has the plan, but Paul has the missing piece.

So we're going to find out.

Last episode, we went through all of the three parts of the laws, the ceremonial law, the tabernacle and all the plans that God made and how they should build it, how exactly they should build it, and the plan that everything they were supposed to put in at the arc, the table, the bread of the presence, the lampstand, curtains, the bronze altar, a whole lot of really heavy metal, and they have to carry this thing around. It's mobile,

and they carry it all over while they're camping. All over the desert. I know. I don't know how

they do it. All right. Chapter 28 and 29 is what we're going to cover today, and this is a continuation

of the ceremonial laws. Moses is still up on that mountain. Remember, 40 days and 40 nights,

and he's capturing a lot of information about the plans for the tabernacle.

In this episode, we're going to turn from the tabernacle to the priests serving in the tabernacle

with the detail of the bejeweled clothes that the high priest wore and the gruesome ordination of the priest,

which was a seven-day slaughtering.

This is one of those parts where you go, why God?

But we're going to get to it.

All right, let's talk about the importance of the priests.

Up until this point in the Bible, there have been several mentions of individual priests,

including Jethro, the Midianite priest, who was Moses's father-in-law, that we read about in Exodus.
