Go ahead and get started. We're going to get started here in just a moment. We're picking up in Exodus chapter 25. So if you remember last time,

we had a little time left at the end. So I gave a little intro to what we're going to be

talking about starting tonight. So now gave a little intro to what we're going to be talking about starting tonight.

So now my recap here is going to be to basically recap that intro over last night.

So because what we talked about last time was we read, we were chapter 24 and Moses going up Mount Sinai, spending 40 days and 40 nights there.

And then we talked about why what we're about to start reading tonight, which is all the

detailed instructions for the building of the tabernacle, why they're here, right, in terms

of, they could be anywhere in the Torah, right?

There's all kinds of instructions for all kinds of things in different parts of the Torah.

Why do we get these in the context of the 40 days and 40 nights that Moses is at the top of Mount Sinai?

And so we talked about the fact that the imagery here is that when Moses climbs the

mountain of God, he's returning and entering back into paradise.

So remember paradise Eden is on a mountain.

We know that for sure because there's four rivers that flow out of it in four directions.

The only place that can happen is on top of a mountain.

So that's how water works.

And so he's re-entering paradise.

He's going to the place where God is.

And there he's entering into the heavenly sanctuary, which is this tent that God lives in, right, within symbolically.
