The Bible. Are you intimidated at the thought of reading such a complicated book? Do you find it

daunting or delightful or both? Welcome to the club. The Bible book club where we read every word

of this great book and then study it together well for me last

episode was a pivotal point in our podcast for this season because it was a bible bender for me that

0:34.6

the parting of the red sea and the crossing of the Israelites was a

0:38.5

metaphor for Christ dying on the cross. And I never thought about it that way before, but I really

love that concept of he parted the Red Sea for us when he died on the cross. And that's the

1:29.7

1:40.2

And so God just moved the cloud.

1:42.6

Yep.

1:42.8

And Moses told them, the Lord will fight for you. You only need to be

1:46.9

still. And just listen to the Lord telling you that still today. The Lord will fight for you. You just

1:52.7

need to be still. And he did. And so God provided a way out, part of the Red Sea. The Israelites lived,

the Egyptians die. And here we are. Here we are in chapter 15.
