And the So, Oh, Since 1948, Israel has been a hotbed of controversy and wars. I've gone into all the wars of Israel

and we've done even prophecy up days where we talked about the six day war,

you know Yom Kippur, we talked about the War of Independence and all the other, you know, the Intifadas and stuff like that.

Basically from the day they became a nation, and I want to let this be kind of a big marker for us tonight,

because from the day they became a nation they've had what we might

call accurately existential threat.

As we come on the year we are following breaking news that does come out of the Middle East.

We are learning this morning a missile fired from Yemen set off sirens in Central Israel.

Hundreds of thousands of Israelis have vented their frustration at the government's failure to free

more captives from Gaza.

They've rallied across the country for yet another Saturday to put more pressure on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to strike a deal.

Do you think peace is possible while Netanyahu is in Israel and Hamas is in Gaza?

Do they no need to be got rid of.

Not under the present circumstances.

The recent death of the six hostages in a tunnel in Ruffo,

just minutes before IDF forces reached them, made it clear to many Israelis that these

goals are contradictory, that as long as the war goes on, the hostages will not be returned.

What do we do about the politics of Jerusalem?

Well, the Bible tells us Psalm 122-6.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem,

for they shall prosper that love thee.
