Mitchell and I am your host today and always because well quite frankly this is

literally my podcast so who else is going to host it.

Happy freaking Monday.

It is Monday October 14th, which is such a splendid day

and it's so fabulous and it feels very aligned and very faded that on this year

October 14th falls on a Monday and I'm gonna let you kind of take a minute to just kind of mentally

place your guesses as to why that might be the case. I'll enlighten you

momentarily but this is my first episode post-Batching. I batch two episodes and it was funny I had

originally intended to batch three episodes because that would cover all of the

Mondays that I was going to be in the mountains which I ran away to but I decided

Hannah visited last weekend and I knew something would inevitably happen where I would want to talk

about it on the podcast so I I said, two is enough.

Two's enough.

And I actually did sit down to record this episode on Tuesday.

It is now Friday, October 11th.

I sat down on Tuesday and I recorded 58 minutes of this

podcast episode and then it disappeared. So I needed to take several days to recalibrate

and to just kind of like get my head straight over that

because that was nothing shy of absolutely devastating and I was so proud of

myself for being so on top of it and then I was like oh okay all that for

literally nothing that's cute and that's really fun so I'm back this is
