It's been an incredibly busy month for you.

I want to ask you about the big news first.

Did you watch the Lionesses win their historic Euro's victory last night?

How was the vibe? What was the vibe?

Oh, so it was in a non-traditional way of watching it.

I had it on my phone on the BBC app and I was watching it outside Kingscross Station

because I'd watched the entire game on the train down from Glasgow because a friend got married.

And by the time we had got into Kings Cross, it was penalties and I just set up camp essentially

outside a coffee shop and watched it and it was incredible.

It was so amazing.

And, you know, I think we have to stop calling it women's football.

I think this is football and the men's game is men's football because clearly we are so much better than them.

So Zara, this is the first interview that you've given to anyone since you've resigned

at the beginning of July.

So why did you choose Navarra Media?

But I also want to ask you about that resignation, because it happened in a very busy and messy

week for the Labour Party.

There were welfare cuts as well as the vote to prescribe Palestine action. What was the relationship between those

events and your resignation? So the reason to do my very first interview since resigning and since

we have announced the process of building a new left party with Navarre is because legacy media

does not operate in our interests and Navarra does.
