I'm your host, Rhoff Shooter, and it is Wednesday, which means a dear friend, Donnie Meacham is joining us. Hey, Donnie, are you there? Hello, it is Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday. We're here. Wednesday, Wednesday, we had a really heavy show yesterday. It was all Rob Reiner. Here's our lead story today, and then we're going to move on to some other celebrity news too.

But this story, Donnie, just awful. Let's get to the news. What time is it, my friends, it is.

Tea time. Okay, big story at the top of the show. Rob Reiner and his wife brutally murdered.

It looks like it was their son, Nick, that did this all indications that are pointing to him,

although we should be careful here saying anybody is guilty until they've had a trial.

So we're going to try and keep an open mind.

However, I'm told that just two weeks ago, the family had a meeting about what to do with Nick.

It was not a secret in Hollywood that Nick was a troubled individual. In fact, at the Conan O'Brien party the day before they were murdered, I know somebody at that party. And when Rob and his beautiful wife, Michelle, turned up with Nick, people rolled their eyes. He's 32 years old. It's not like bringing your 10-year-old son to the party. He's 32. Like, he got invited to events because of his mom and dad. People in Hollywood knew he was difficult. He could be a bit of a bully. He could have a huge ego. However, they were kind to him because of who his daddy is, was. It feels weird to say was, but I think that's probably the past tense now is probably

the right tense. It's complicated because you hear these stories about him having a chip on his

shoulder that he could never really be as successful as his dad, as his grandpa, but then on the

other hand was he lived in a $25 million house. His mom and dad paid his rent for him constantly when he was at his own apartment.

They paid for him to go in and out of rehab. I hear like 15 or 16 times. He never really had a job.

His dad, he wanted to be a screenwriter. So his dad let him write a screenplay that wasn't really that great.

If it had been, if it hadn't been his son, Rob Ryder

wouldn't have produced or directed that, that film. Let's be clear about that. And so I think my

feelings, which at first were really stunned, and now I think I'm really angry. It feels really,

really like a spoiled brat, like a spoilt brat. He had everything to live for. Now, obviously,

we're a compassionate show, we're kind here. I've got to be compassionate to drug addiction. It's

a disease. It really is. It's not a choice. It is a disease. I believe that. So I'm trying to be

kind here, Donnie. But it's so complicated because this kid had everything.

We did not, Donnie, you and me have had to rough it.
