Last week, we gave you a sneak peek inside practice, inside basketball practice,

courtesy of a guy who wore that uniform, who was in many practices in Ann Arbor,

before going on to practice in the NBA as a first round draft pick and player for about a decade and then going

into broadcasting where he does an outstanding job covering the NBA and college basketball.

And of course, he is the expert voice on this podcast every episode.

I'm talking about none other than my guy Tim McCormick.

Tim, how are you?

I'm doing pretty well, Sam, and I have to be honest,

I know this is a basketball podcast, but I want to talk a little bit about Michigan football this

week. I know you're good with that. I can't go too in depth because in the fourth quarter, as Rutgers

was rolling up and down the field against Michigan, I made

a little promise to the football gods that somehow we could pull this game out and stay undefeated

that I promise I would move on and not complain and not break down too much of it.

But I want to hear your thoughts on Michigan, Wisconsin.

Yeah, look, this is a game that will rest, in my opinion, on Michigan's ability to throw the football.

At least their chances to win the game, rest on their ability to throw the football.

Now, that doesn't mean that you come in and you abandon, you know, depart from your identity running the football.

It's just recognizing that Wisconsin is the best run defense in the country.

They aren't losing games.

They haven't lost two games this season because the defense was bad.

They held Notre Dame's star running back Kyron Williams to 33 yards last week.
