When I was a child I gave my life to Christ. It was all head knowledge. I didn't really have a relationship with the Lord.

When I got to college, I just became a huge partier.

Probably three to four nights a week, my roommates and I would go out to a party,

but we'd always return home separately, like just completely blacked out and wasted.

About two years later, I rededicated my life to Christ,

and he immediately took away all desire for alcohol and partying.

And then a couple months into that, I remember asking the Holy Spirit, where were you during that

season of my life?

And I kind of braced myself for a rebuke.

Instead he just brought this image to my mind and he showed me where I was walking home

from these parties and Jesus was there beside me and he had his hand protectively on my back and he was

making sure I didn't walk into the street and I just remember being incomplete all of God's love in that

moment and just being like I cannot believe that after doing something so deliberately

against what the Lord would want that he would take care of me like that. That's when I started to

really trust and really obey God.

Because of Kares, I fell in love with storytelling again.

And currently, I'm in the year three film and production school,

specifically in the writing track.

I love being a part of it.

I love what the Lord is doing to reveal himself with the world through

Karis and through everything that's going on here and I'm just excited to be

part of it. Praise God for his love for us even when we are messing up like what Kara was talking about and
