I think Excalibur is of its time, very much so. It came off to me as feeling pretty dated. The film feels

dated. It looks muddy. This HD conversion that we got, it didn't seem like they remastered it at all.

They simply upscaled it and shit it out. The editing you can tell was done before the age of computer editing where they were just slicing up film and it shows in some clunky edits
