Man, I'm excited about today's show. This time of year, you know, I love talking about the upcoming free agents. We did that last week. You can go back. You can check out that episode if you missed it. But even more than free agency, I love that I get to spend some time analyzing the new crop of prospects coming out of college. I've said it before. I don't have a lot of time

during the NFL season in order to go and watch college games. I have to wait until January.

So now we've reached that time. And that's why we had today's guest, Ray Garvin, come on back in

August. And he gave us that early rundown of the 2021 rookie class, at least what we expected of them entering the college

season. Now we brought him back today. We're going to get caught up on where things are at.

Now after the college season is over, what changed, how players are looking, everything,

and you probably know already, but he's the creator of destination, Devi, you can find his

Ray, welcome back to the show, man. How's 2021 been treating you so far? Justin, what do you mean? Made some time. When you came calling, man, I cleared off the schedule. I said, I will be there, baby. We're talking rookies. 2021. This is a hell of a way to kick off the start of the year, man. Everything is good on this end, just, you know, diving into these rookies and getting ready for this upcoming NFL draft.

It's going to be a good one, man. And I went back and listened to our show in August. I can't believe it was August. But, yeah, we'll talk about some of those takes, man. You hit a lot of things on the head. But yeah, we'll get into it as we go here because, yeah, I mentioned it off the top, right? Like you you came on before it we knew at that point it wasn't going to be a typical college season you had the COVID situation you

had players opting out so we could just start on a more general note what surprised you the most

from this season I think the fact that we had a season and I think that's the first surprise is that we had

a season.

But just how unconventional this year was for collegiate athletes.

We had, you know, the SEC came out from the beginning and said, we're playing.

You know, I don't, I don't, we don't care what everybody else is doing.

We're going to play, you know, and the fact that they went through an all SEC schedule,

some of those teams, and then we had some, some conferences join in late, some conferences

join in even later.

It was just a weird season, but despite all of that, it still felt like college football, right? You know, it didn't feel like the

product was cheapen. I don't think any of the players, you know, some players who did opt out,

and we talked about that. I did feel going into the season that a lot of the top guys would opt out.
