Hello and welcome to the Monday September 30th, 2019 edition of Tesla Daily on Official Tesla Podcast.

My name is Rob Maower, today we're talking about some rumors on Q3 deliveries.

Tesla stock on the day today was down 0.52% to $240.87 cents. That compared to the NASDAQ with a pretty strong day up 0.75%.

Some of that fall may have been due to a report from Electraec early this morning.

The headline of that report read, quote,

Tesla is a few thousand cars short of its delivery goal with a day left.

End quote. Of course, that day left being today, today is the last day of Q3,

and again, we should expect to receive delivery numbers

sometime on Wednesday, most likely,

though it could technically happen any time

between Tuesday and Thursday.

As we know, last week, Elon emailed employees

pushing to get to 100,000 deliveries for the quarter

that led to my expectation for delivery numbers of maybe 102,000 with a range of 101 to 105,000.

This report today may call that into question a little bit, but let me just read the entire

report from Electra here.

Quote, Tesla Management has been keeping the actual progress numbers towards the goal secret, but sources say they have communicated

to employees last night that they were, quote, a few thousand, end quote, short of the goal with a day left

in the quarter.

It is not impossible for them to reach the goal at this point, but it will be extremely difficult.

Sources told Electric that Tesla has about 3,000 vehicles in inventory throughout North America,

but they are not all at the delivery centers
